AXEL, the energy accelerator of the energy network fokus.energie, welcomes eight new teams.
It's all about combining photovoltaics with wind turbines ("Stromsieger"), the "electric fingerprint" ("Ladon Energy"), modular battery systems ("The Battery Pad"), stairwell lighting control ("Innoshine"), industrial process steam generation ("Kraftwerksmeister"), digital energy consulting ("Effizienzpioniere"), giving batteries a second life ("E-Positive") and weather data analysis ("Alitiq"): AXEL is supporting eight new teams in the "Team Development" program right at the beginning of 2022.
Twelve founder teams had applied for the "Team Development" program in a virtual jury pitch: "Eight energy start-ups were able to assert themselves with their appealing and innovative ideas and will now enter the 'Team Development' program," says Christos Klamouris, AXEL Senior Project Manager. Whether potentials, task assignment, communication, productivity or dynamic processes: Team Development is now about upcoming challenges so that the creative start-ups can develop in the long term. The participating teams are active in many areas of the energy transition - whether in energy storage, mobility transition, heat transition, higher energy efficiency or energy supply. "AXEL supports them with a qualification program through trainings suitable for the energy sector and offers specifically tailored to the teams to shorten the long product development and marketing cycles typical for the energy sector," Klamouris explains. Established entrepreneurs and energy experts from the fokus.energie network are also available to provide a neutral assessment of the potential for success and to develop concrete proposals for action. "In this way, we can currently support a total of 19 teams," Klamouris emphasizes - and points out that even more companies from the sustainability and energy sector can be supported in the start-up phase this year: "For this purpose, additional mentors can also join the energy accelerator."
