Mentoring for Startups

Our mentors are established entrepreneurs or experts in the energy sector and therefore ideally suited to support you in setting up your company or product development.

Each AXEL team is accompanied by an experienced mentor from the appropriate subject area. He or she is always a competent contact person for questions and challenges that come with setting up a company.

You will receive regular feedback from your mentor on your business model, financial plan and business activities and can discuss the resulting opportunities and risks with him or her. He or she will provide you with valuable contacts to potential partners and customers and help you build your own network to accelerate the market entry of your product.

Become a Mentor

As a mentor of an energy startup, you will benefit from getting to know exciting teams as well as gaining insights into new energy technologies and growth markets. A prerequisite for becoming a mentor at AXEL, is a membership of fokus.energie e.V. (Become a member of fokus.energie e.V.).

• Are you a member of a governing body or in a leading position in a company or institution?
• Do you have a pioneering spirit (your own start-up experience is also ideal)?
• Do you enjoy working with young teams at eye level?

Mentoring in AXEL The Energy Accelerator is exclusively voluntary and strategic. This means that you invest time and know-how to a coordinated extent. The final decision and implementation of the jointly developed content is then up to the company itself. A mentoring agreement is concluded between mentor and company. AXEL proposes a selection of mentors to the teams who fit the respective needs.
